Rough sleeper
The HeyVan and HeyYou-T are part of the Homeless Assertive Outreach Response Program (HAOP), an initiative of the Victorian Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Action Plan.
In Bendigo and Swan Hill we have Client Care staff who provide support to people who are sleeping rough. This service is available for both people who are sleeping rough and for those who are concerned about someone who is sleeping rough.
Our rough sleeper outreach vehicles (HeyVan. HeyYou-T) carry basic foods and essential items and stop at several known locations across Bendigo and Swan Hill.
