2023 PowerHousing Australia National Awards

At the 2023 PowerHousing Australia National Awards Haven Home Safe was announce the winners of the Tenant Engagement and Social Inclusion Award for our placemaking activities at Epping.

It was a privilege to be recognised in a room full of our industry peers representing many other organisations that are doing amazing work to help people have a safe, affordable and secure place to call home.

Thank you to all our staff who play their part in Community Engagement, making sure our renters feel included, engaged, and empowered to organise their own events and common interest groups.

The awards were hosted as part of PowerHousing Australia’s three-day Member Exchange Conference and showcase individuals and organisational teams who have made a difference to the lives of renters and communities.

Australasian Housing Institute (AHI) Brighter Futures Award VIC/TAS June 2023

Recognising those who have made a significant and lasting difference, these awards focus on impacts made to renters, service users, the community, and the industry.

We are proud to share that we had three finalist nominations to be considered in these awards.

Inspirational Team Member Award Nomination – Sundus Saida
Leading Innovation award – Placemaking

We were thrilled to be announced the winner of the 2023 AHI VIC/TAS Leading Innovation award for placemaking in our Stage 1 Residences, New Epping.


Thank you to our amazing staff for their placemaking work, Village Well for their knowledge and guidance on our placemaking framework and to our partners Riverlee and Homes Victoria for helping deliver real community impact through the Epping development.

PowerHousing Australia November 2022

These awards showcase individuals and organisational teams who have made a difference to the lives of renters and communities.

 

We were proud to celebrate three finalist nominations at the 2022 PowerHousing Australia’s National Awards:

  • Mallee District Aboriginal Services (MDAS) in partnership with HHS for the: Tenant Engagement and Social Inclusion Award
  • Yvonne Mathews for the: Rising Star Award and Scholarship Immersion
  • HHS and MIND Australia Partnership for the: Collaborating: Government Program Collaboration Award

 

We were honored to be awarded Runner Up for the Tenant Engagement and Social Inclusion Award, recognizing our partnership with MDAS.

 

 

UDIA Victoria Awards 2023

We’re incredibly proud to be shortlisted with our partners Riverlee for the UDIA Victoria Awards for Excellence in the category of Affordable Housing!

We know there’s something special about the affordable housing we’ve created with Riverlee. An innovative partnership approach that has delivered best-in-class design and impact with a true sense of community, these apartments are changing lives.

 

The UDIA awards acknowledge the best in urban development across the state. Congratulations to our partners and stakeholders involved in the project: Riverlee, Homes Victoria, Hacer Group MGS Architects, City of Whittlesea and Village Well.

 

The award winners will be announced December 2023.
