About

As a for purpose organisation connecting people with homes and support services, we are focused on strengthening communities.

We are Haven Home Safe and we connect people with housing options and the support services they need to find and keep a place to call home. For over 40 years, we’ve worked with Government, public and private partners and people in communities with this purpose in mind.

Registered, regulated and responsible; we are a commercially-operated profit for purpose organisation. This means we have a genuine compassion for the communities we are embedded in and always focused on the people who need us most.

What we do

We provide housing and homelessness solutions to people across Victoria. In 2021-22 across the state, we:

  • delivered 28 housing and homelessness support programs
  • provided 8,345 support periods
  • supported 8,272 people with homeless support programs
  • provided 3,410 food vouchers
  • were part of 42 impactful partnerships

We also…

  • saw 1,580 new regional clients who needed support for the first time
  • supported 750 First Nations people
  • helped 237 households through the Homelessness to a Home program
  • managed 2,226 homes
  • commenced $140m worth of construction.

Our purpose

In a world where homelessness and housing crisis exist, we connect people with housing options and integrated support so they can find and keep a place to call home.

Our vision

We want to see a future Victoria without homelessness and housing stress.

How ‘Housing First’ changes lives

Robert We know that housing provides the foundation for people to address other aspects of their life which may be contributing to their experience of homelessness. That’s why we’re strong advocates for the Victorian Government’s investment in the From Homelessness to a Home program (H2H).

An ecosystem of impactful partners

Our partners see the world as we do and understand that greater impact can only be realised through impactful partnerships. The promise we make to our partners is that the Haven Home Safe experience will bring you closer to understanding the needs of the people we serve across Victoria. Our partnerships demonstrate value for money and social impact in equal measure as we embrace co-design, co-creation and the discovery of new business models that will move us towards ending homelessness in Victoria.
