Currently, we can only deliver the supports we are contracted to provide in each region. If we are unable to deliver support within your region, we will try our best to provide you with the details for your local services.
Client Care programs
Getting homelessness and housing help
Also, known as Intake and Assessment Planning (IAP). Through an IAP appointment we will learn more about you and your housing needs so we can advise what accommodation options are available. IAP might be able to help you if you:
- Are 26 years of age or older
- Do not have a safe place to stay
- Are at risk of losing your home
- Need housing support

Private Rental Assistance Program (PRAP)
If you are experiencing a personal or financial crisis and you need help to maintain your existing private rental property or to begin a private rental lease you might be able to access this one-off payment to help. You must already have a lease agreement for your private rental property.

Support programs
Community Connections Program (CCP)
This program provides short-term support to people who experience barriers finding a home and need help accessing other services to find and keep a long-term rental.

Tenancy Plus
Haven Home Safe’s Tenancy Plus Program is dedicated to helping public and social housing renters sustain their tenancy and reduce the risk of homelessness. Our program engages renters in their community, offering crucial support when needed.

Private Rental Assistance Program Plus (PRAP+)
Eligible clients are supported to prepare and submit private rental applications; attend rental inspections or access appropriate support needed to begin and sustain their private-rental tenancy.

Supporting Families at Risk (SFAR)
Beginning a new tenancy can be overwhelming. Tailored to the family’s needs, the SFAR program works with families to maintain their tenancies as they transition out of homelessness services to independence. Appointments are by referral only.

Tenancy and Property Management (social and affordable housing)
Haven Home Safe delivers tenancy and property management for clients already living in social and affordable housing. All housing allocations are made through the Victorian Housing Register (VHR). You can learn more about the VHR here.
