Winter Walk For Homelessness

Join us at our Winter Walk for Homelessness on Sunday 2nd August 2026! Haven Home Safe is hosting this community walk to raise vital funds while advocating for an end to homelessness in the Bendigo community.

The Winter Walk will take place at Lake Weeroona the morning of Sunday 2nd August at 9:30am to mark the beginning of Homelessness Week 2026.

Join us as we amplify the voices of the organisations working on the front line of homelessness throughout the walk and advocate for an end to homelessness in our community. Let’s move together to raise awareness, inspires action and get closer to a future where everyone has a place to call home.

This is an inclusive event. We welcome participants of all ages and abilities to walk, roll or take part in a way that works for them.

Please ensure everyone attending is registered so we can manage event attendance numbers.

Details

• Registration fee – $25 per person. All funds raised will go towards Haven Home Safe.

• Distance – we will do 3 laps of the lake – 4.5kms, you’re invited to join us for as many laps as you can.

• There is street parking available.

• Please arrive at 9am ready for a 9:30am start.
