A highly experienced Executive Director, Trudi has been with Haven Home Safe for 19 years, starting as a Supported Assistance worker in 2003 and moving through the ranks to Executive Director Corporate Services and most recently Deputy CEO and Chief Operations Officer. With extensive knowledge of the housing and homeless sector, Trudi is focused on putting clients at the core of service delivery and working in collaboration with like-minded partners to deliver greater outcomes for the most vulnerable in our community.
As Group CEO, Andrew will be pursuing a variety of innovative affordable housing solutions that will create new markets, funding streams and partnerships of scale to further build on the work of Haven Home Safe. This approach will ensure a long-term funding model for Haven Home Safe through commercial diversification opportunities that will realise solutions across the entire housing continuum
“The environment in which we operate is increasingly sophisticated and to meet an increasing need for support from people across Victoria we need to generate more diverse funding opportunities. The organisation has been working for the last 12 months to re-align how we work to place our clients at the core. By setting up this group structure we can maintain that client focus whilst I shift attention to future opportunities and partnerships that will enable us to have even greater impact as a maker of housing affordability,” said Andrew Cairns, incoming Group CEO.

This move will allow us to source unique commercial opportunities and see ourselves in a different way, and most importantly, take significant steps to connect more people with more housing options and the support services they need to find and keep a place to call home,” said Mr Tangey.
