Haven Home Safe Development Team Wins ‘Team of the Year’ Award at 2024 People in Property Awards

Haven Home Safe’s (HHS) Development Team has been awarded the Property Council of Australia’s ‘Team of the Year’ Award at the 2024 People in Property Awards. This award recognizes the team’s high-quality service to stakeholders and excellent collaboration in their projects.

Rob McGauran, Director of MGS Architects, supported the nomination, highlighting the team’s work on the New Epping project. HHS is Victoria’s fourth-largest community housing provider, committed to ensuring everyone can access a home. HHS is focused on increasing housing options and creating communities that connect people and place.

The HHS Development Team works across the entire development pipeline, from government funding tenders to project completion. With over 150 apartments and homes in the pipeline. the team works collaboratively with over 90 consultants and 14 head contractors across various projects.

Currently, the team is adopting new tools and techniques to meet enhanced Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals and tackle post-COVID construction challenges in Victoria.
