Please be aware of people impersonating Haven Home Safe

As the prevalence and brazenness of scammers rises, we urge all supporters of Haven Home Safe to be vigilant of anyone who contacts you asking for donations.

Like many not-for-profit organisations we are preparing to begin our End of Financial Year donation campaign. In doing this we want to make sure our supporters are protected from anyone who may impersonate Haven Home Safe as a scam.

Haven Home Safe will always direct supporters to our website havenhomesafe.org.au for donations where you can safely support our organisation using our secure platform.

Only supporters who contact us directly requesting to pay through alternative methods will receive a call from us. We will never cold call you and ask for your bank card details. We will also never door knock for donations or visit a property without prior notice

If someone calls you and asks you to donate to Haven Home Safe via your bank card you should assume it is a scam and they are impersonating us.

Please make sure you have a conversation about these type of scams with your loved ones who may be vulnerable to charity donation impersonation scams. We would be heartbroken to see our kind and generous donors targeted in this way.
