As Haven Home Safe responds to the changing needs of funding bodies, the community, clients and renters as well as the broader housing environment, our Executive Team is also evolving.
Following the recent completion of 387 new homes through the Big Housing Build, we have said farewell to our Chief Commercial Officer, Blake Hogan, who has now finished with Haven Home Safe. Blake’s commitment to Haven Home Safe and the people we support has been deeply valued, and his contributions have helped shape the organisation we are today. We thank Blake for his significant contribution to Haven Home Safe over the past decade and wish him and his family all the very best for the future.
Our Development Team remains committed to delivering our current pipeline and pursuing new opportunities. We continue to benefit from the expertise of Development Manager Tim Lun and Development Project Manager Erin Connolly, who will lead this work alongside external advisors where required, particularly for more complex investment structures.
Our recently released Delivering Strategy 2040 places a strong focus on the renter experience. This is supported by investment in a new digital system that streamlines how we manage tenancies and enables a more integrated and holistic approach to housing – from development through to tenancy, asset management and maintenance.
This holistic approach to housing aligns with the establishment of a new Executive role – Chief Housing Officer (CHO). This role provides end-to-end oversight of our housing portfolio, from development through to tenancy and asset management.
Following an extensive recruitment process, we are pleased to introduce Lisa May, who has now commenced with Haven Home Safe in this CHO role. Lisa will lead the strategic direction and operational performance of our housing portfolio.
Lisa brings exceptional experience as State Operations Manager with Community Housing Limited, along with a strong belief that housing is more than buildings – it is about creating stability, dignity and belonging for people and communities.
Together, these executive changes strengthen our capacity to deliver on our strategy and respond to the evolving needs of the communities we serve.
