Help us, help more people.

Last year over 7300 people came through our doors for support. We rely on donations to help us provide dignity and support to people when they need it most.

When people connect with Haven Home Safe, it’s because they have found themselves in circumstances, they never expected to be in.

Please note: Haven Home Safe will never cold-call you and ask for your bank card details to make a donation. We will also never door knock or visit a property without prior notice. Learn more about impersonation scams here.

Why donate?

In a world where homelessness and housing crisis exists, we connect people with housing options and support so they can find and keep a place to call home. In addition to supporting people in crisis we are dedicated to being a part of the solution and a future Victoria without homelessness and housing stress by building more homes to increase housing supply.

How donations help:
• $20 – prepaid phone card for a month
• $40 – Myki card and travel or fuel for a week
• $100 – Food and essentials
• $280 – Two nights’ emergency accommodation
• $500 – Two weeks’ rent in advance to secure permanent housing options

What to donate

Donations of money allow us to respond quickly to the individual needs of our clients.

If you wish to donate goods (hampers, blankets, hygiene packs etc.) or vouchers please contact your local Haven Home Safe office to see how these items can be best utilised and if it is something we can take or if they are better directed to another charity.

We do not have any storage or warehouse space to hold onto bulky items.

We also accept bequests and donations of land and homes, to discuss donations of this size please email donations@hhs.org.a

The Australian Taxation Office has authorised Loddon Mallee Housing Services as a Deductible Gift Recipient, and therefore gifts of $2 more are tax deductible for the donor (some conditions apply).
