The Haven Home Safe development team brings years of experience in property development, construction and project management.

A group of experienced professionals dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families by developing beautiful, practical and energy efficient, social and affordable housing solutions. Our staff have as successfully completed a range of development projects which have directly increased Victoria’s social and affordable housing supply.

Winner of the Property Council of Australia’s ‘2024 Team of the Year’ Award

Our Development Team has been awarded the Property Council of Australia’s ‘Team of the Year’ Award at the 2024 People in Property Awards.
This award recognizes the team’s high-quality service to stakeholders and excellent collaboration in their projects.
The Team works across the entire development pipeline, from government funding tenders to project completion. With over 150 apartments and homes in the pipeline. the team works collaboratively with over 90 consultants and 14 head contractors across various projects.

Trudi Ray – CEO

Trudi’s extensive knowledge of the housing and homeless sector, coupled with her deep regional connections and commitment to social justice drives HHS’s successful delivery of integrated homeless supports and housing.

Currently responsible for the growth and delivery of our housing and support services and extensive housing portfolio, Trudi is a strong advocate for community housing and the positive impact it has on the health, wellbeing and economic participation of vulnerable Victorians.

Blake Hogan – Chief Commercial Officer

At HHS, Blake drives economic and strategic planning to deliver a pipeline of growth projects and has been instrumental in the development of significant projects including New Epping. With a background in finance, investment banking, sales and trading and corporate advisory, Blake’s success in delivery is underpinned by a strong understanding of regional communities.​​

Erin Connolly – Senior Project Manager

Erin oversees our development projects including project documentation, quality assurance, contract management and defect inspection ensuring all properties are delivered to HHS’s quality specification.

 

Experience        

Erin has project managed the development of many social housing properties within the HHS portfolio, including:

  • Wattlewood Estate (237 subdivision; including development of 100 affordable housing dwellings).
  • 95 Tram Road, Doncaster (10 storey residential apartment building with 98 affordable housing dwellings).
  • Melliodora, 30 DeGille Street, North Bendigo (Residential development site including 5 unit share house with supported accommodation and 6 further dwellings).

Qualifications 

    • Graduate Certificate of Business: Project Management (Swinburne University)
    • 2023 Property Council, 500 Women in Property program.

Tim Lun – Development Manager

Tim works through the planning and delivery of our development projects by providing feasibility modelling of new sites, cash flows, consultant and contractor management and project management.

 

Experience

With over 5 years previous experience working as an architect and in development management, Tim has extensive experience across residential projects in various typologies and scale.

In his current role he uses his experience of a design background to create developments with strong design sensitivity catered specifically for our target audience.
