Haven Home Safe is building three purpose-built homes in Bendigo for women and children escaping family and domestic violence. In partnership with Annie North, the Centre for Non-Violence, the Australian Government and Burbank Homes, the project will provide safe, sustainable housing, offering families security, dignity, and a fresh start.
Haven Home Safe has been awarded a $2.5m grant from the Australian Government Department of Social Services Safe Places Emergency Accommodation Inclusion Round to build 3 x 3 bedroom townhouses in Bendigo.
A Haven Home Safe development site in Preston has commenced its transformation into five new one-bedroom and nine new two-bedroom homes. Â
