Festive season gratitude

Impact Story

For many of our clients and residents the festive season can bring financial and emotional stress or amplify feelings of loneliness. Thanks to our generous supporters, partners and donors we have been able to spread some joy this year.

While this isn’t a fulsome list of everyone who has made a difference across 2025 or during the festive season, we would like to thank:

Empower Australia – Thank you to Empower Australia who have played a critical role in supporting Haven Home Safe and the New Epping Community Pantry all year and have also donated so many kids gifts for our Epping residents. A 4-year-old girl who lives at the Epping apartments has been waking up every morning and asking her mum “Are the presents ready for us now?”. When the gift collection day came, she put on her best dress ready to come to the event!

City of Greater Bendigo –Through the CoGB Community Festive Season Meal Grants we have been able to buy and distribute hampers for clients and residents who may otherwise go hungry this festive season.

Share the Dignity – Thank you to Share the Dignity and everyone who support this incredible charity. For many women this will be the only gift they receive this year, and the bags are so thoughtfully put together – allowing the recipient to feel seen, special and pampered.

Strathfieldsaye Primary School – The school generously puts on a toy drive each year collecting toys

Blossom Melbourne – This small business donated beautiful candles for local residents.

Mill Park Baptist church and Food Collective Epping â€“ thank you for donating bags full of toiletries for residents.

The Salvation Army – thank you to the Salvation Army who generously donated pantry item hampers for clients.

Officeworks – Thank you to Officeworks who donated a voucher which we used to buy some prizes for kid’s games at resident gatherings.

Sunshine Bendigo – A huge thank you to Sunshine Bendigo who donated a toys and Christmas Gifts for residents and clients.

Backpacks 4 VIC Kids – Thank you for helping to provide back-to-school and essentials packs.

Once again thank you to everyone who has helped make the festive season a little brighter for all our clients, residents and communities. Many of these organisations show up repeatedly each year and their support and generosity are greatly appreciated.
