HeyVan ਇੱਕ ਜ਼ੋਰਦਾਰ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਆਊਟਰੀਚ ਸੇਵਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਾਡੇ ਬੇਂਡੀਗੋ ਦਫ਼ਤਰ ਤੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਅਤੇ ਗ੍ਰੇਟਰ ਬੇਂਡੀਗੋ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਤੇ ਪਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।

Program overview

Aimed at providing early intervention to reduce the psychosocial impact of rough sleeping, the HeyVan team actively seek out people who homelessness services have not previously been able to help.

The HeyVan carries basic foods and essential items and supports people who are chronically homeless or sleeping rough, build up a trusted connection and help them get access to the emergency accommodation, housing and support services they need. The HeyVan has supported more than 160 people to date.

The HeyVan is part of the Homeless Assertive Outreach Response Program, an initiative of the Victorian Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Action Plan.

Access to specialist services such as mental health, drug and alcohol support, allied health and more
Ongoing support and case management offering for people to be relocated off the street and into safe and permanent housing
Innovative responses and support to people who may not engage with traditional services
