About the project
New Epping is a mixed-use precinct in the City of Whittlesea that will offer a variety of housing options surrounded by 11 hectares of green space and conservation area.
Conveniently positioned near major employers, public transport, health and retail facilities, offices, aged care, childcare and open space, when completed, the precinct will provide 2,000 new homes.
The apartments are being developed in partnership with Homes Victoria through the Social Housing Growth Fund and Riverlee.
Haven Home Safe will be managing tenancies and community-building initiatives for all apartments with an on-site office and community manager.

Available housing
We have a mix of one and two bedroom apartments available, all with one bathroom and a European laundry. There will be the opportunity to apply for covered car parking and bike storage.
The apartments are a high-quality, modern design and include energy efficient appliances, solar, double-glazed windows, rainwater collection and reuse.
The 151 apartments are spread across three buildings of six, seven and eight levels, all with individual lift and stair access. Each building has a dedicated street address and main entry.
These residences have been designed to the Better Apartment Design Standards, silver Liveable Housing Australia rating.
Disability access
Four apartments are designed to be fully accessible, however, there is no accessible car parking spaces available within the buildings.

There are some requirements to qualify for affordable apartment living in Epping. You must be registered on the Victorian Housing Register (VHR) before apartment allocation. You can still register your interest if you don’t have a VHR, but we encourage you to obtain one as soon as possible through the Housing Victoria website.
Your gross household income (from all sources, including employment, Centrelink payments, investments, child support etc) must be less than the amounts listed below – please note, Commonwealth Rent Assistance is on top of these amounts:
