With 20 three-bedroom, 57 two-bedroom and 21 one-bedroom apartments, it is the biggest development we have delivered to date. All units have six-star energy ratings demonstrating sustainable technologies and sound environmental principles.
Five of the one-bedroom apartments comply with the Disability and Discrimination Act to cater for tenants with a physical disability requiring a wheelchair, while another six are Class C Adaptable, which means they are easily modified for tenants with a disability.
The apartments maintain a social mix of tenants including singles, families and key workers, all of whom have strong links and connections within Doncaster and the surrounding Manningham area.
A Community Engagement Officer liaises with the tenants, encouraging them to integrate within the community and to reach for their aspirations. Tenants have a sense of home because they now have secure, long-term housing.
